The short version

Tangy Tools' text tools run entirely in your browser. Text you type or paste into a tool is never sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone. It's processed locally on your device using JavaScript and never leaves it.

What we collect

We don't require sign-up and don't have user accounts, so we don't collect names, emails, or personal profiles through the tools themselves.

We use Google Analytics (via Google's gtag.js) to understand overall traffic. Things like which pages are visited, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and how people arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and anonymized by Google and is not tied to the content of anything you type into a tool.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Some tools also use your browser's local storage (not a cookie sent to any server) to remember small preferences, like a saved like-count or toggle state, purely so the tool behaves consistently for you between visits.

Third-party links

The site links out to other services (for example, launch directories credited in the footer, or social media profiles). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

Your choices

You can disable cookies and clear local storage at any time through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use any tool on this site. Every tool still works fully offline-style, in-browser, with cookies disabled.
